There’s a quiet little place tucked away on an island called Anglesey; it is called Newborough Sands and has one of the most fantastic beaches on offer here.
My grandparents drove down from London to meet with my girlfriend and parents for the day, and luckily the weather has been warm and dry. We went in Lilith and pulled into the giant car park (Which unfortunately has a toll both and five pound fee) but it did not disappoint.
Like most of the other beaches here, the sand is truly golden and is surrounded by a massive forest, perfect for walking your doggies. There is a toilet and food stand, Ice cream van, and a mountain biking trail that is regularly used by the local army cadets.
Although we didn’t explore the place too much, it is a beautiful spot for kicking back with your relatives and friends, having a cup of tea, and generally having a relaxing day. It really is a big place and you won’t be short of activities if you love outdoor activities such as kiting, football, biking or hiking.
All in all, it was nice to go out and enjoy the fresh air with my partner and family, reminiscing on the past year. I’d highly recommend going there and checking the place out. It has a great atmosphere and 5 star review on trip advisor. Newborough Sands is home to many films for it’s environment and unusual rolling sand dunes, and although I don’t know which ones they are, it is unsurprising they chose that spot.
Hoping all of you are doing well, and be sure to stick around for more posts like this.
